So far, I do not mind using Twitter but I do not think I will use it after this class. I personally never enjoyed using Twitter as a form of social media so having to make another account and try again, I don’t think I like it that much. But I will say that there are many benefits from using Twitter. You can see articles posted by other people or organizations that are helpful when you follow someone. You an easily communicate with others, almost immediately, by responding to their tweet. Also, the search bar is extremely helpful when searching for news that is popular on Twitter at the time. It is also a fun and easy way to connect to others in your community but also globally. I have not experienced any issues with Twitter.

Working on the Web Page Design I acquired skills that are beneficial in organization and creating a web page. I was able to learn how to make a Google Calendar that is automatically updated on the webpage when I make changes to it through Google. I also learned how to import picture on the webpage and move them around to make the page more appealing to look at. I like the webpage of Weebly a lot because it is easy to create and navigate through. It is also very easy to make changes when needed. Next time, to improve it, I think I could put the hyperlink in a different place or maybe change the layout of the page. This assignment is very useful for my future career because I will be able to create a website that has all my information, the class information and assignments/notifications on it that students may use as a reference. Students and parents both will be able to contact me and know exactly what we are doing in the lesson and in class.

Working with Diigo, I learned how to annotate websites and comment on other members’ annotations and comments as well. I learned how to highlight a text, make a sticky note on the text and comment on other people’s comments. This application can be useful in the classroom because I can have students work on group projects using Diigo and they can work on them from home, or I can send out an article that I had annotated and commented on to my students and have them read through it and make marks of their own. With team members this is helpful because when working In a group someone may thin on point is important that I may have overlooked so this way we can both highlight what we think is important and discuss. For my personal efforts this is helpful to go through websites and figure out which ones are the most useful/helpful and which websites have the best information.
